Infertility Treatments - Your pathway to Assisted Conception






Confirmation of pregnancy
The pregnancy test (blood test) is usually arranged 12 days after the embryo transfer .
If you have a positive pregnancy test we will ask you to repeat the test after 48 hours to determine a satisfactory rise of levels and  have an ultrasound scan 1 month from the date of transfer, which is to confirm the viability of the pregnancy, the location of the pregnancy and the number of foetuses. You will need to continue taking Progesterone till 12 weeks .
